Summary of Learning Outcomes for Each Module:
-
Removable Parts:
The holder learns to fit and replace removable vehicle parts, such as screwed, riveted, and glued components, using appropriate techniques and procedures. They develop the ability to interpret technical specifications to strip down and reassemble mechanical parts of suspension, steering, cooling, and lighting systems. Skills in diagnosing and correcting misalignments and ensuring proper functionality after assembly are also acquired. -
Metallic and Synthetic Parts:
This module focuses on diagnosing and repairing deformations in metallic and synthetic parts of vehicles. The student acquires knowledge in selecting repair techniques for steel, aluminum, and composite materials, restoring original shapes and dimensions through welding, bonding, and reshaping processes. Emphasis is placed on understanding the properties of different materials and applying the correct repair procedures. -
Fixed Parts:
The diploma holder gains skills in removing and replacing fixed vehicle parts, such as welded or crimped components, following established procedures. They learn to select welding equipment, prepare joints, and apply welding techniques according to manufacturer specifications. Proper alignment, measuring, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations are integral parts of this module. -
Surfaces Preparation:
This module covers the application of anti-corrosion treatments and surface coatings to protect vehicle structures. The student learns to prepare surfaces by levelling and smoothing imperfections, applying sealants, and selecting appropriate rustproofing techniques. Knowledge of safety measures and environmental regulations related to surface treatment processes is emphasized. -
Structural Parts of the Vehicle:
The holder acquires the ability to diagnose and repair structural deformations of vehicle bodies and frames. They develop skills in measuring deformations, determining stress points, and using specialized tools for stretching and reshaping operations. Ensuring that structural components comply with manufacturer specifications and restoring the original dimensions are key learning outcomes. -
Trimming of Surfaces:
The student learns to prepare, paint, and finish vehicle surfaces, applying base coats, lacquers, and color matching techniques. They gain experience in covering areas not to be painted, preparing paint mixtures, and using colorimetry tools to achieve desired finishes. The module also covers techniques to correct painting defects and ensure high-quality results. -
